Don’t think for one second I need you because I don’t,
I’m not going to deal with your shenanigans anymore
because finally, I don’t have to.
I caught on and you knew it,
I’m now ready to move on with my life.
I don’t need you.
I know happiness comes in second place and I pity you for it.
Your reckless pursuit of material luxury blinds you to the true pleasures of life,
Trinkets, jewelry, and name brands can’t hide the gaping hole in your soul,
You do it all under the guise of providing for your children, but I know better.
You inadvertently push away everyone who cares about you, and then cry to the fates.
Your mom was a bad influence, but when do we start taking responsibility for our own lives?
How many more lost friends will it take for you to understand?
I’ve done everything I could to retain a relationship with you for your kids,
but I’ve had enough.
I don’t need this.
I don’t need you.
I truly wish you the best of luck in the future.
this was a formating nightmare. i don’t know if my browser is screwing up or what but I’m not going to mess with it anymore–it’s sub par poetry anyway haha.
I liked it
