you know sometimes i wonder why I try to save and help every addict on this site. If you don't know who I am by now then I am invisible, I have over 300 plus blogs on my site filled with suggestions of recovery. I do not give advice. I have 24 years one month and 26 days clean. I used for 22 years. why do you come to this site to be seen but you don't want to hear what us oldtimers have to say? why did you join www.addictiontribe.com for? just to B8tch and moan about your life? when are you going to admit your are powerless over your addiction and your life is unmanageable?

It's time to get serious about wanting to save your life. the NA version of insanity is repeating the same thing over and over and expecting different results. with over 7000 members on this site i see no oldtimers posting here anymore. just why is that? i may have had 4 heart attacks, open heart surgery, a stent placement, 2 angioplasties but i still come here praying to God that I can reach just one addict a day. my sole purpose in Recovery is to F#@k up your next using. I have gone through 22 surgeries in 24 years. right now my left bicep has been completely torn from the tendon in my upper arm. yes it hurts like hell but as a member of NA for a while i know what the answer is.

For my friends on other Recovery sites this is not anyway pointed at you. I love you all and appreciate your comments. I cherish and value everyone of you.

Understand you are not Unique. unforetunately we are all just insignificant specks on this planet but for those of us who have found a little peace and serenity between work, play and meetings we enjoy every minute of it. I will turn 59 in 3 days. I am very lucky to be alive today. I am 100% disabled today but hell I live in Hawaii and can play my guitars on the beach. Yes I miss my career of 35 yrs as a professional Radio Disc Jockey but life goes on and we have to roll with the changes. like it or not it's a fact. so please get the help you need, take the cotton out of your ears and put it in your mouth. learn to listen to experience, strength and hope. Put some faith in these people that have walked before you. if your really new please F43K keep coming back just stay. Remember that Recovery is a Journey not a Destination and use the rest stops God provides along the way. you cannot move forwards if your always looking back. you cannot graft a new thought onto a closed mind. have an EGO problem? E.G.O. Edging God Out. try F.R.O.G.S. Fully Rely On God's Strength……………..

From a true NA member for life……Aloha and Big NA hugs, JJ
