If any of you read my last blog "I Wish I Could Die" and followed the comments, and were disturbed by some of the comments and the writers, go read my response. (I dislike how DT does not alert you when someone makes a comment on your comment or to a blog you commented on. But Iguess Facebook got the rights to that feature and isn't sharing, at least not without a nice royalty).

Anyway, thank you to everyone who either privately or publicly defended me. I appreciate you all. Depression Tribe is supposed to be a place, a safe place, for people with depression to express their feelings and to receive encouragement, empathy and understanding. Most of us are not doctors or therapists, and even if we were, we could not diagnose anyone through this forum. We encourage one another to get help. We share what has worked for us or what has not worked for us without passing judgement on others when they share what they have tried. So if you do not have depression and you cannot empathize with those of who do, why are you here? I know some on here may no longer have depression. But they have a wealth of information and experience and canencourage those of us still suffering in a positive way if they choose. I appreciate their wisdom, insight and caring.

We also use this forum to check in with one another to make sure we are OK and to know that someone out there cares. Life is somehow a little bit easier when you learn you are not the only one experiencing a hardship. Life is a little bit sweeter when you 'see' a friend have some success or a positive experience.

I am not going to be bothered by negative people and comments. I hope the new people can see past the negative people. Most of us here just want to be heard and to help others. Keep it up, my friends!
