Checking In…

I am very surprised to see that this site is still up and running after all this time & the infighting & BS that seem to exist here at times. With that being said I hope everyone is doing well and taking their meds. I haven't been on the tribe and consider it a good thing. I, myself had gotten caught up in all the BS and realized that there was soo much more! More actual living! I had spent years running a 501 (c) (3) that I created for HIV/AIDS while running my own landscape design business and trying to help everyone else – that my last marriage ended, the charity went belly up (mostly due to the economy) and my company was struggling. It wasn't untill I started taking care of myself that everything came back together in harmony. First by working out and quitting smoking. It sounds cliche' but if your not trying to be physically healthy its hard to find happiness. Ofcourse, then the business started booming and new state contracts were aquired and then I married a wonderful woman in 2011!!! Since then we bought our new house near the Gulf of Mexico and now I am also finishing up my BA in Public Policy and am hopeing to Graduate next year! I had promised myself to return to college for almost 2 decades & it wasn't until my oldest son just graduated from High School and we were signing him up for college that he told me he was going to graduate with his Bachelor's before me! Well as many of you out there who actually know me – there was no way I was going to let that happen! So I transferred my credits and signed up once again. I consider this only as the beginning of a long process. I don't want to be 60 and still designing and installing amazing yards for other people. It could be that I'm just getting older, but damn it seems to get hotter out each and every year. So if you are new here & you think the world is over because your positive; or your thinking why me what did I do to deserve this? The answer is nothing! It just happens & the world is NOT over. Each day is a gift and if your not trying to change your life you will watch as everyone else gets what you have only dreamed about having. Start with one simple thing and accomplish it over and over each day. Once you have mastered the change without even trying move on to another aspect you would like to change and do it again. If you keep it simple, you will succeed. The harder things in life like health, income and relationships – will all come to you once you start mastering simple changes in your life and string them together over time. It's just that simple! Good luck to you all! – B

Ok, so I'm here for my 6 month check up! I hope everyone is doing okay & hopefully the pettyness of the tribe has passed. Things have been going very well on all things in my life and I am grateful for the solidarity. I have not smoked any cigars since new years & have been training at an MMA gym also for part of my New Years resolution (that went hand in hand with not smoking cigars). Will be coldpressman – helping out my training partner ringside with his RFC MMA fight the 27th. Went back to Puerto Rico & Dominican Republic with Shakira for two weeks in April and had a blast visiting her family. I really have a very loving and great wife……finally! Had to get another passport (damn Dept. of State and thier regulations, I had pages left – kinda) and we are going to St. Maarten next month for my "Bucket List" to do the whole Sunset Beach by the runway while 747's fly a dozen feet overhead trying to land on the runway (youtube it, you'll see) & then going to our timeshare at the end of the month. Starting a brand new mail order company, got first production order run and inventoried!!! Very excited about that. Had to sign closings for two houses that our investment group bought this past July – one 4 bedroom with a pool & one duplex; so will be fixing these props up in the next few weeks. I was against the duplex but our main investor from England wanted it – damn British! LOL. I wish everyone well, perhaps will check back in more than once every six months….if you wish more contact from me, friend me on FB as long as you don't talk about HIV every second of every FB blog. – B
