I did a random act of kindness for another person that they didn’t ever expect and then they surprised me with a laptop as a gesture of thank you! I really like it so much! It was very generous and kind of the person!

It is amazing and so much better than typing on my phone screen! I used to have a tablet and had it for years but it passed away many years ago.  I just started using my smart phone for everything.  I now have a keyboard verses a phone screen and the screen is touch screen as well on my laptop! It is amazing and so much better! I do still love my phone of course!

My screen saver is pink flowers and it has a butterfly on it! (Who is surprised by this?) Yes, a little predictable!

I saw a quote about creating the change that you want to see in your life in both little and big ways recently.   It made a really big impact on me.

What change do you want to see in your life?

How would this change or changes make you feel?

What is in my power to change about my life?

What can I not change and just accept (radical acceptance.)

I pondered on the above and accepted some things as out of my control and focused on what I can change and improve to build my best realistic life!

Then, daily actions were planned to make the most of creating function and productivity and celebrate the opportunity for joy in my life everyday! Goals are being set for the next day everyday!

Can you visualize where you want to be in a year?

How does that “look” in your mind?

Who is in your life?

Who would you like to have less or no contact with in your life a year from now?

What type of people do you want in your life a year from now?

What do you have to offer them? What can you do to be a better friend and human being?

How do you want to view your life in a year?

I answered these question based on that quote inspiring me and set forth actions and made a plan  to create what I want my life to look like in year!

I figured out that happiness is in a ranking order and we really don’t need to strive for “happy” but content as a goal is actually more realistic! It can take stress of a person realizing this and bring so much joy verses anxiety!

Also, I learned that anxiety and excitement are also the same feeling and it is all about how you label it! When I feel anxious, I tell myself that I am feeling excited about something that I am looking forward to (but feel nervous about) and it is going to be great!  If not, I will be okay and there will be lesson learned that will make life better later!

In addition, I learned that once “toxic people” in my life figured out that I was onto them and knew their intentions and noticed their destructive patterns towards myself and others that they would make a point to exit my life.  Some people use their their energy more to hurt others and are always protecting themselves and keeping an eye out for being “exposed.”

Why can’t they used their energy to build up others and try to be the best person they can be?

One would think that with the same effort, all the toxic behaving people would instead opt to make the world a better place and to inspire and love others! It would take the same amount of effort on their part verses being unkind, toxic to others etc.

Sending hugs, hope and wishes for good health, safety and a content day!

Hugs,

Lacey
