Okay, we have a new president coming in in January and I am hoping that America is of the verge of doing some really great things.  If nothing else I hope we will join the international community as a partner and not a over lord.  Face it the past 8 years we have told the world, "This is how we want things and screw you if you don\'t agree with us."  Um, not the way to make friends!

Anyway, I\'m also hoping that the rights of gay and lesbian people will finally be protected in this country.  Did you know that it is still legal, as in its okay, to fire some one for being gay in 37 states in this nation?  So much for liberty and justice for all (my ass)

I really hope that Obama remembers who his supporter are.  I already know I will not get gay marriage out of him, which is a dissapointment, but I expect him to work for and protect my rights or I will not support him in 4 years. I am not a Log Cabin Republican who will vote for a party who tramples my rights and offers me no dignity! (I really can\'t figure those people out.  Do they really hate themselves that much?)  I

f Obama screws me over I will work against him in the next election and I hope others will also.  He should be on notice that he asked for the gay and lesbians community\'s help, now he needs to deliver, and I am not a patient man.  I may not be alive 4 years from now!

On the other hand?  The revolution is alive.  I went to a wonderful concert tonight and I highly recomend any one who gets the chance to go hear this lesbian duo.  Their name is "Emma\'s Revolution"  and they are just wonderful www.emmasrevolution.com   I haven\'t been to an evening of music in ages that I have enjoyed as much as I did this.  Please check them out and if they are going to be appearing near you go see them!  Funny story though. I took Pastor Jack.  He and I like the same kind of music so I wanted to take him becuase he has done so much for me since I got sick, I just wanted to do something for him.  I ran in to a guy I know from the Folk Music Club that I belong to and I introduced him to PJ and hes said, "It so nice to finally meet Marks other half."  Lets just say there was a moment of silence!  And then we both burst in to hysterics.  I later explained to the guy that PJ was just the Pastor of my church and we really liked the same kind of music, and then he burst in to hysterics.
