I think therapy is about change--sometimes simply accepting yourself more, and sometimes changing your situation. Often it's changing how you deal with your situation and your emotions. I love to work with clients who really desire these types of positive change. For more: www.LeeEdwardsTherapy.com

You can rest assured that you will be in a comfortable, supportive, and encouraging environment, where the focus will be on you alone - there is no ‘cookie cutter’ way of doing things here, and your individual needs to achieve growth are the top priority.
I kind of think I should talk to someone but damn it I don't want people to think I'm crazy. I mean I know I'm not, but... what if my family found out and thought there was something wrong with me, or if people at work found out. The last thing I want anyone to know is that I'm having problems in my relationship, or with my kids. I need to make a life change but... All of these thoughts are so normal, and they're often the thoughts that keep people from reaching out. It can be very uncomfortable to make the choice to come to therapy, after all, it's a form of asking for help, and we live in a society that tells us we should be able to do it all. Think of it as a form of self-care, like a massage, getting your nails done, a haircut, going to the gym, it's just another way of taking care of the most important person in your life, YOU.
I have been helping individuals, couples, families, and groups find greater happiness and wellbeing since 1985.
