One of my sons is miserable and hates his job.   He feels under appreciated because his brother has gotten promoted many times.  He, however, has not at all.

We live in a rural area where job opportunities aren’t impressive to say the least.

Plus, with the last hired and first fired or laid off thing that happens in jobs, he needs to not change jobs now.

He is applying other places.  He works retail.

It isn’t a good time for someone to change or leave jobs.  He makes good money, is full time, and has good hours.  He is good at his job.

He has done nothing toward  showing interest on college or wren a trade program.   He mentioned giving his two weeks notice and then figuring it out.  I worry.
