Here is a light hearted moment instead of recent posts about “Serious Stuff”… that make me laugh when I remember them.~♥~ First, have any of you have tried to change the sheets on your bed while the cats are still on top?  Well Cleo and Tony have different styles: Tony is always trying to duck  under the sheets, he likes to be under stuff. ~♥~ brain detour — Sometimes in the living room I will make a tent with a fleece blanket on the Wing-back chair (it is closest to the wood stove).  Tony is always the first to disappear under there for a nap...~♥~  … and the brain detour returns.  Back to the bed, Tony does not know this dance at all and often gets in the way. Eventually giving up and fleeing the bed entirely.  ~♥~  Cleo, on the other hand, knows this dance great: she knows just the right steps, walk to the edge of the fitted sheet and take a step to over the edge. I stretch it to the second corner and she steps over the edge again gets even closer to me. 🙂 the pattern continues, third corner and she makes it all the way up to me for some more petting. Four corners and done! ~♥~ The sheets are changed.!  Same pattern for the comforter on top. Cleo always walking to me, trying to stay close and purring like a motor. Once the change is complete I sit down on the bed and she leaps to my shoulders, time for a ride.  🙂      ~♥~  I hope all of you enjoyed this glimpse into one of my chores, changing the sheets is never dull. Sometimes i find a missing sock, sometimes a Cheeto… How in the world? Once in a while a light dusting of fur when one of them washes the others face… And once the corner of a sandwich?!?  So gross. ~~~~~~~ Sending all of you a smile, hugs, a giggle and prayers – Iris

Thanks for sharing this fun glimpse into one of your chores! That’s observant that you noticed the subtleties in the cats’ different reactions to sheet changing.

Haha!, about all the “treasures” you randomly find.

I usually end up finding socks. When it’s cold I go to bed with socks on, but I don’t like having things on my feet when I’m sleeping. I end up usually kicking them off in the middle of the night. Sometimes, I wake up with one sock halfway on and one off, or both socks halfway off my feet.

Hey Emilie, that sounds so cute? Like one of your socks is trying to eat one of your feet! – Iris
