Therapy is a partnership between you and your therapist. You work together to find the causes of problems, as well as create solutions and strategies for resolving them. You end up with peace of mind and the ability to reconnect with the people close to you.
"Everyday is about becoming" I believe that going through a process of self-reflection and change is powerful and brave. It helps us identify how we are getting in our own way in having a better quality of life. In responsibility their is power. Everyone wants to feel content and satisfied with themselves and the world they build around them but we struggle to achieve this goal because we have been hurt, disappointed, betrayed, or doubt ourselves. Find your personal power and change your world. I am with you.

Feelings of shame, confusion and guilt will be resolved together, as I will challenge your thoughts to develop more balanced thinking and guide you to understand and express your emotions. It takes courage to ask for help, thus I see all clients as strong and capable of change, otherwise they would not be in my office. My commitment is to meet you where you're at and to help you feel safe exploring whatever you're struggling with. I can teach you skills for developing boundaries, regulating your emotions, communicating more effectively, and much more. I will support you to achieve your goals and to build self-compassion and self-reliance.
Trauma, anxiety, depression, fear, low self esteem- these experiences and feelings are more common than we think. Many times, we are expected to suppress our emotions and we get by dissociating (or ignoring) the things that are hurting us, the unresolved stuff we have grown so afraid of addressing and shedding light on. I believe in meeting my clients where they are in this delicate journey--growing and creating together. It's important to me that everyone has their own individualized plan on what they feel is effective, helpful, and healing for them. I am a guide, an ally, and a professional- but you are the expert in your life. Together, we navigate your healing process and what it means for you.

Registered PsychotherapistVIEW PROFILE
I help my clients/patients feel comfortable to begin therapy. I have gone through this process as a client and as a therapist many times. Feeling understood and having someone help you take a look at what is going on can be very refreshing and provide some hope. My background in speech-language pathology has prepared me to work with clients who have difficulty expressing themselves. Expressive arts therapy is an alternative way to reach feelings and represent the experience you're having.
