I love helping people who are not in a good place because it gives me an opportunity to step in and make an impact in their life. helping others is a truly enriching experience, it’s the right thing to do, and you realize you are helping yourself. Ive made sacrafices in my life for helping people, and I will choose helping others over myself any day. I do this because I don’t want anyone to feel like they are alone battling with their demons. I want them to know that everyone is the same and struggling somehow in life, and look at me know in life, especially me, helping others. I accept myself as a maintener person of society, thats my responsibility that God is calling me to do. And when i’m not helping others I feel very anxious and aimless. Helping others helps me be a happier more positive person. My favorite quote I read everyday and follow by is: “I don’t want to live in the kind of world where we don’t look out for each other. Not just the people that are close to us, but anybody who needs a helping hand. I can’t change the way anybody else thinks, or what they choose to do, but I can do my bit.” ~ Charles de Lint.  This tells me that I feel it’s important for us to remember the importance of looking out for one another and of giving back to the world, not just taking from it. To ignore the world is to shut ourselves off from help, happiness and enjoyment. Others won’t be willing to help you if you’re not willing to give some yourself. You’ll never be happy if all you do is take from the world and never give back. you won’t enjoy your life because you are more concerned about what someone may take from you rather than what you can give.

If you see a person that looks lost on the street, do you try to help them?

How can you serve others in ways that support you and spread happiness instead of resentment?
