…. But I let myself cry because I needed to do so.
I did my do stuff around the house while in tears.
Then, I ran out of tears and walked 4 miles (in a hour and a half.)

I think that crying is a great and normal thing for people to do in times of distress. I went through a lot in my childhood and adolescent years from a very crazy and abusive home life. I tried many ways to escape and most of those things turned out very bad. I learned over almost a decade or more that “crying” is one of the best things we can do. There are so many unhealthy responses out there, and crying is not of them. Keep crying and expressing. Its not bad to feel down, stressed, scared, etc. Its just a natural part of living, and everyone experiences those things. We bounce back pretty fast though. Sigmund Freud himself once said “unexpressed emotions never die; they are buried alive and come back in much uglier ways.” Crying is a great way to express and be a human. Never feel bad about that. Start feeling good about expressing hardship and fear in a natural way. Have a great day.
