What saved me- a stranger

Earlier, I had been to the store and noticed a male the age of one of my sons wearing a name badge with that sons name on it gathering carts in the parking lot    I said hi and mentioned I liked his name and why.    I thought nothing is he and thought this person and I may or may not ever cross paths again     I shopped and left the store and drove home.

Then, I needed to go back to the store for something else the male with my sons name saved my life.

It was a typical experience of going to a store.    I drove, parked the car, walked and crossed the street and stepped up on the front sidewalk in front of the store.     No big deal right?

I spotted the male employee my sons age with his same name standing on the sidewalk off to the side just off the sidewalk part right in front of the store.   I asked him how how day was going and stopped walking to listen.

Right then, a car came driving very fast and drove on the front sidewalk right where I would of been standing if I hadn’t of spoken to the person and stopped walking.   The car drove right by me so close but did not hit me.  It was as if I was surrounded by a bubble of protection.   I looked at the male employee my sons age and same name and said that the car should of and would of ran over me if you had of not been standing in the exact spot he was in.     He nodded and looked shaken as I felt.

Right now, I could not be here to type this.   I am alive.    It was a close call.

I do not believe that it was luck.   I was meant to notice the employees name tag earlier and he was meant to save my life later that day.
