Hello,
The birds are loving the bird bath today. It is also so hot that they are doing some relaxing on the bird gazebo bird feeder as much as eating. Thankfully no fighting like yesterday over the favorite perches on the metal Silo is going on today with the little birds!
I saw a brave little Humming bird travel to the patio hanging plants that were freshly watered to dine in the shade under the large umbrella!
The butterfly houses are being occupied by beee and wasps. The bee houses aren’t much different than the butterfly houses!
The ground is so hot that you either have to wear shoes or walk really fast!
The metal pool ladder is so hot to the touch that it isn’t usable without wet towels over rungs!
The Robin bird family that lives in a nest has thriving little ones! Mom and dad stay busy keeping them all fed! I see their little heads with their mouths open.
As I type this the white butterflies flutter around living the Milkweed and other flowers. They flutter in pairs and in groups all around the flowers on the patio. One butterfly keeps landing very near me and keeping me company as I watch the birds at the bird houses!
I see a fly that is sitting on the flower pin wheel in a plant literally taking a Ferris wheel ride as it blows in the rare bursts of wind that gives a very brief relief to the heat!
I started my day after making the house look clean and beautiful taking a swim with a friendly frog who decided to jump in with me! He is quite large and a strong swimmer with his speed! Hours later, I felt tired from swimming but my frog swimming buddy was still going strong!
The birds are chirping surrounding me in the trees with a relaxing and soothing sound mixed with the pool fountain sounds. The music of nature let me me taking a nice nap after the long swim!
The trees leaves and branches are swaying in the soft breeze while they have a striking contrast to the white puffy clouds and the brilliant blue sky.
Summer days are limited much like opportunities to make enjoy life and appreciate what is right in front of us.
Fallen marigold flowers are drying in the sun for next years blooms. The days of Fall season will be arriving if I am ready for them or not but I will still have my memories, pictures, and seeds to grow.
Have a blissfully wonderful afternoon and evening everyone!
Lacey
