I met someone online today who told me they would never be happy…I do not pitty them, but instead, I offer them a few words of advice. If you do not allow yourself to be happy and content, then how can you expect happiness and contentment to find you? You need to first, be content and comfortable with who you are as a person. Don't let other people's opinions make you who you are…it is your opinions of yourself that matter the most, so why not make those opinions positive?
I met someone online today who told me that they would never be happy…I do not pitty them, but instead, I offer them a shoulder to cry on and a listening ear. I offer them friendship and a bit of friendly advice. If you are not happy with yourself then how can you expect to possess the ability to be happy with someone else? If you feel that a person in your life is not contributing to your happiness but rather contributing to your unhappiness, then by all means, walk away. You should never depend on anyone else for happiness…You have to be happy with you! If you're changing yourself for someone else then obviously that person does not truly love you. If a person doesn't like you or love you for who you are the way you are, then it's not worth beating yourself up over, just walk away.
I met a person online today who told me that they would never be happy. I do not pitty them, but instead, I understand them and their pain. I too used to believe that I would never be happy…that all changed for me when I decided that I love who I am and who I am is good enough for me. I took a stand and told myself that I am a beautiful person, inside and out. Despite my flaws and imperfections, I love me and that's what really matters…It's not easy to take that stand, but it can be done.
I met a person online today who told me that they would never be happy. I do not pitty them, but instead, I hope to help that person see that happiness is not having someone else to do things with you or constantly praise you. Being happy comes from deep within yourself and is not something to push to the side for the sake of pleasing others.
