THE LIFE I LIVE IS SOMETIMES FILLED WITH THE WARMTH OF LOVE AND KINDNESS THAT WARMS MY SOUL SO DEEP THAT MY SPIRIT IS AT A PEACE THAT IS UNCHALLENGED. THEN SOMETIMES MY PEACE IS TAKEN AWAY WITHOUT WARNING AND MY SOUL IS EMPTY AND MY SPIRIT IS QUIET. THERE IS SO MUCH SADNESS IN THE WORLD AND SO MUCH SUFFERING AMONG PEOPLE THAT WHEN I THINK ABOUT IT, MY TRIVIAL PROBLEMS ARE JUST THAT, TRIVIAL. FOR MANY, WE GET LOST IN OUR TRIVIAL PROBLEMS AND FORGET ABOUT OUR FELLOW MANKIND THATARE STARVINING FOR LACK OF FOOD. WE FORGET THAT AS WE HAVE OUR DEPRESSION ABOUT OUR LOST LOVES AND LOVED ONES AND OUR REGRETS ABOUT THE COURSE OF OUR LIVES, THAT PEOPLE ARE BEING TORTURED IN OTHER COUNTRIES AND CHILDREN CRY IN THE NIGHT ALONE FROM THE HORRORS THAT WERE BROUGHT UPON THEM, NOT BY THEIR CHOICE. SO WHEN I FALL INTO MY TRIVIAL SADNESS COMPARED TO SO MANY OTHERS, WITH NO LIGHT OR WARMTH IN THEIR LIVES, I FEEL THAT I AM NOT ALLOWED TO HAVE THES SILENT TEARS OVER MY REGRETS AND PROBLEMS. I WANT TO BELIEVE THAT WE ARE ALLOWED TO HAVE THESE FEELINGS AND PRAY TO OUR ANGELS AND ASK FOR GUIDENCE, WITHOUT SHAME OF OTHERS WITH BIGGER PROBLEMS. I WANT TO FEEL THAT I CAN ASK FOR A BETTER DAY FOR MY SELF, EVEN WHEN SO MANY SUFFER GREATLY. I WAS TOLD BY A FRIEND THAT THERE IS ALWAYS A STORM AND CLOUDS BEFORE YOU SEE THE RAINBOW THAT THE SUNSHINE REVEALS TO US. SO I DREDGE ON HOPING WAITING FOR THE RAINBOW, NOT FEARING THE STORMS AND THE DARK CLOUDY DAYS. I TAKE A BREATH AND HEAR IT ENTER MY BODY. I LISTEN TO THE BIRDS SING IN THE SPRINGTIME. I WATCH THE TREES CHANGE COLORS AS THEY DO EVERYYEAR AND ENJOY IT.

EVERYONE OF US IS ALLOWED TO WANT MORE OUT OF OUR LIVES AND EVERYONE OF US ARE ALLOWED OUR SADNESS. BUT AS THE CLOUDS TRAVEL PAST OUR HEADS AND THE SUN REVEALS ITSELF TO US AGAIN, SO TO WE ARE ALLOWED TO HAVE RAINBOWS IN OUR LIVES.

The people you describe in their desperate lives at the edges of life are in touch with their need, use their fight or flight options and have no time for an emotional "constipation's" of civilized, overfed, over indulged societies where we need to learn to handle anger without hurting others, get along with a boss who needs told off or a punch in the nose. He (the boss) can freely exercise his/her tyranny while we arte not free to use the fight or flight response, so the adrenaline and cortisol builds up in our bodies along with the negative by products of our convenience food and lack of time or energy to exercise our frustrations away, You don't think this person who is a prisoner of civilization doesn't deserve compassion.  Well I guess I beg to differ. Some live in a physical hell others live in a mental one, which offers the possibility of recovery. While I have compassion for the people you describe, I have compassion for us, too. Because we can rationalise our difficulties as being unimportant compared to others. For me suffering is suffering.
