Listening to Santana, I feel like dancing. It's amazing how powerful music can be in one's life. When I'm feeling like I'm the only person in the world who has a certain deep emotion, I listen to music and there, in the lyrics, are the expressions of my emotion. Someone, somewhere, felt as I do and it's amazing. "We can't make it all alone."

I wish I could dance like I used to, I mean, I can still dance, it's just not the same. I was in a car accident in January… I had been drinking, however, I had a .08 blood alcohol content, meaning, in NY, that's the legal limit. So, I have to go to court anyway, which sucks major balls.

Besides that, I'm recovering after a broken leg, broken ankle, shattered knee, fractured pelvis, and collapsed lung. I should have died… but i guess God has a plan for me or something.

I'm out of work, out of school, and just taking time to recover, both physically and spiritually. I'm in AA and it is saving my life. Yesterday I had four months and I can't believe I made it this far… God's graces, for real.

Anyway, I love going out to coffee, I love going to shows and festivals, and this blog entry is just a lil' something for people to get to know me a little better. I really am hopeful in my recovery, I mean, I'm walking so that's pretty sweet… I just have to wear a knee brace but like, it doesn't really hinder me from doing the things i wanna do. (Such as: riding a bike… or riding a man…) haha!

But yeah, sobriety, man! What a crazy idea… never thought I'd be 21 and sober. After 11 years of drinking, however, it's been a long haul, rough times, and many struggles with my mind and soul. I believe in no coincidences, and that we are all here for a purpose. Thanks to those who have welcomed me to this site, and comments would be much appreciated!

I have a strong relationship with my higher power today, and although many may be turned off at the thought of "God" however, I consider myself spiritual, not religious, although I practice certain standards that coincide with many different religions. Meh, it's all good. That's just my opinion. And now I'm rambling… But if anyone would like to talk sobriety sometime, hit me up!

I'm from Rochester, NY and am lucky to have found people here who are supportive. Hopefully, through this site, I'll be able to meet others with similar beliefs and who are just as supportive! Well, thanks for letting me share all this crap, and if you're still reading, way to go! You've made it through a small part of my story. Wanna know more? Message/friend me! haha… I'm a nerd and a sick person… soooo with that said, I'm totally going to stop writing.

(Daily, I ask for help, so I'll just share a part of my prayer…)

"May I do Thy will Always!!!"
