Parent’s noticed that I put non binary on my ID. Their exact words? “”That’s going to drive me crazy, don’t put it on your license, prepared to be judged when you get pulled over. Why are you jumping on this bandwagon?”
That hurt, I won’t lie. I may be 18, but I’m homeschooled and they won’t teach me, I’m not allowed to drive, and they won’t let me get a job. I’m not even allowed to leave the house, I have no real life friends because they just isolate me.
It was dumb. I should have put female on my ID because now I am constantly going to feel more suicidal and unsafe than I already was feeling.
