Evening all! Just wanted to stop in and say hello. Been several months since I was last online. In the intervening period of time a few things have happened. College mainly. Currently I am working on my final set of finals. Only two days of Finals left and then 3 days till grades come out. As of this comming Saturday I will officially be done with my Degree. Oh I know I took a tad bit longer to get the degree done that is usual, however, it was worth taking the extra time by going half time in order to obtain the degree. I absorbed more of the information and it was actually fun.
In the end I decided to specialize as a Platinum Print maker. They whys and the hows of it are fairly detailed, however, it was the most satisfying outcome all things considered. It is a decision that has been very fruitful so far. Now comes the hard part after mastery of the print process. Making a living at it considering it is the most expensive photoraphic process in the world. Go figure. In a world dominated by the instant gratification syndrome of Social media and cellular photographs it should be rather interesting to see how things go. Of course there is always the patron out there that knows what a Platinum Print is and likewise is able to apreciate the amount of work that goes into making one. That is a small boon. Time will tell. In the mean time I will just have to produce work and get it into galleries and sell it. Got to make a living somehow. LOL
On a side note I will genuinely miss being a college student. At least for a little while. I intend to take a bit of time off before I start on the second half of the degree. Well enough time to get tired of having time off that is–and that happens fairly fast. LOL
In any case. All is well. A very tired, exhausted, and bone weary soon to be college graduate bids everyone a good evening. And remember life is half joy and half sorrow. The road we travel on to happiness is paved with both of them in equal amounts. Remembering to celebrate both is what makes this life such a memorable experience to behold!
