Hullo.

I haven’t blogged for a while, and naturally put this down to laziness. However, I’ve been super busy these last 2 months and haven’t had the time, or felt the need to analyse too much.

I used to feel stress when things got quiet, and perversely now things seem to be taking off and actual stress is rife, I seem to be doing just fine. Who’d have thought I’d thrive on pressure…

Anyway, I now have time to write; I have no internet. Yes, that’s right. It’s been rather liberating actually, and short lived – as I get connected in my new gaff – well, today if you’re reading this.

But this isn’t today – this is Sunday. I’ve just about settled into my new flat and have to say, I am enjoying it muchly. It’s too early (and too hot) to be making a Sunday roast. Can you make a roast for one? Is that a bit sad – a bit peep show? Anyway, the neighbours seem sound – they guy on my right is a big Roy Orbison fan – I can forgive being woken up at 9am this morning with a bit of Roy. And the guy across the road likes Ed Harcourt. Yesterday, he was wearing a t-shirt that denoted this fact.

News you say? Yeah, well I’m trying to get contracts sorted – and my “tour”, such as it is – is becoming more defined, with dates for talks and workshops adding some credibility to the idea that this is what I do now.

It’s all mildly ridiculous what is happening, but I’m following my own words to the letter, in the sense that I am taking one step at a time and working to the best of my ability. It’s all I can do man.

How are you etc etc? Yeah, actually – that is an issue I am facing at the moment, I fear I am becoming more self absorbed. But this is it for me – I’ve worked too hard to throw in towel now, and so will remain passionate about my work. Starting a business, even at this freshman stage, requires dedication – and what do you know, I seem to be dedicated! Hooray!

Thank you to everyone who has bought coming up for air. If anyone else wants a copy, it’s available from Lyvit for the bargain price of £2. Thanks to Terry for welcoming the panic monkey to its new home…http://www.lyvit.com/

Great.  You blog is uplifting.  I like your focus.  It sounds really well balanced.  I don’t know what you have gone through but it cetainlly sounds to me that you found "the light at the end of the tunnel."
