Hello Everyone, Most of my posts are about serious (at least to me) issues… and a friend pointed out that I could try sharing “Good” or “Positive” things too, so here I go.

You may already know that a lot of my clothes come from thrift and “Discount” stores?  Well a friend had bagged up some old, odd, or outgrown clothes that were headed to a family services thrift store and gave me a chance to look through them along the way….

…there were some pillow cases and one odd fitted sheet that were made from the same satiny sleek  fabric and would fit my bed at home.  About a week ago I had gotten home late and decided to wash a load of clothes and change the sheets on my bed.  I didn’t really  pay much attention to what I was doing, it was late and I was tired… So it was not until about five days later that I realized this sheet was the new Satin one I had picked up… and put on the bed inside out!  Ha!  It feels much nicer turned the right way out! I felt so silly now, for not realizing I was sleeping on the wrong side! It did feel warmer that way though…

Some evenings when the music is on I get in the mood to dance…. and since Cleo likes to climb onto my shoulders anyways… And I was bopping around in the kitchen, drying dishes and putting them away, doing a little tidying up… Well she had enough of that and jumped down, and headed who knows where.  Bob just watches me from one of his beds, his tail wagging slowly.   Getting a little head pat each time I walk by.   Then one of the slow songs started playing, and I picked up Cleo again, and she stayed on my shoulder through one and a half songs. She seems to like the slow songs a lot better 🙂

Earlier this week I had left the back door open, Bob had been following me around. and forgot to close it again.   So I was a little surprised later when I walked into the kitchen to find three of the chickens in there, pecking at the cat food bowls!  I had to laugh, I’d seen this before!  Well, the chickens noticed me, turned around and headed back outside, not bothered in the least.  This time I pushed the door closed until I heard the “click”.  🙂

btw, I raise most of the ladies by hand, in the mud room of the house when they are chicks and really little.  This makes keeping an eye on them a lot easier, keeping the food and water clean, handling each of them a couple of times everyday, that sort of stuff.

So these are a few silly things I thought I’d share.  Think of them what you will.  Maybe one of them gave you a smile!  Sending out hugs, hope, prayers and love  – Iris
