I am the middle child of my family.

I could always notice that my parents care more about my elder sister and my younger brother. My mother always tends to their work (like sweeping their rooms or folding their clothes) despite the fact that I do these chores alone.

My younger brother is the only boy in the family and the youngest child, therefore he was extremely pampered. My mother always did work for him saying that, “he’s a boy, he doesn’t have to do work!” And I find it really unfair.

My sister has endometriosis and suffers from diarrhea and other symptoms. She rarely does any work, always complaining of stomach ache and other things, so my parents pamper her top.

That leaves me, the ordinary middle child.

Are my feelings or being neglected valid? Or am I just overreacting?
