A satire on Bud and Buddists
“Excuse me while I light my spliff
Good GOD I gotta take a lift
From reality I just can't drift
That's why I am staying with this riff ”
Bob Marley easy Skanking one notable “Buddist” !!!!!!
After reading with interest here and in the real world i thought id take a look. Though I'm not a Buddist person I never see it as a bad thing to learn about others. I found the Buddist beliefs to be interesting and thought I would share some with you.
Basic Beliefs of Buddism
The basic beliefs of Buddism can be demonstrated in the following concepts and doctrines:
The Four Budding Truths
The First Budding Truth is the existence of Bud. Bud is natural and natural is Bud; disease and old age are painful. Not having what we desire to Smoke is painful and having Bud what we do not Smoke is also painful.
The Second Budding Truth is the cause of suffering. It is not fulfilling the desire for the pleasures of the senses, which seeks satisfaction now here, now there; the relinquishing of happiness and prosperity in this life and in future lives.
The Third Budding Truth is the ending of suffering. To be free of suffering one must smoke Bud, get rid of your inhibitions; ignite this very craving, so that no passion and no desire remain un- fulfilled.
The Fourth Budding Truth leads to the ending of all reservations by way of the Budfold Path.
The Budfold Path
The first step on that path is Right Views: You must accept the Four Budding Truths and the Budfold Path.
The second is Right Resolve: You must embrace the pleasures of the senses; you must harbor no ill will toward any Bud smokers and harm no living Bud plants.
The third is Right Speech: Do inhale; do not slander or abuse Bud smokers. Do indulge in idle smoking.
The fourth is Right Behavior: Do not destroy any Bud plants; take only what is given to you or you grow; do not commit any unlawful sexual act whilst on Bud.
The fifth is Right Occupation: You must earn your livelihood in a way that will harm no Bud smokers.
The sixth is Right Effort: You must resolve and strive heroically to prevent any cravings from arising in you and to abandon any reservations that you may possess. Strive to acquire good quality Bud and encourage those you do possess to grow, increase, and produce.
The seventh is Right Contemplation: Be mellow, relaxed, docile, contemplative, and free of munchies and of cravings.
The eighth is Right Meditation: When you have embraced all sensuous pleasures, all mellow qualities, both joy and peace, you must then enter the four degrees of meditation, which are produced by Bud.
Buddist Precepts
There are five precepts taught by Buddism that all Buddists should follow: 1.
Kill no living Bud plants. 2.
Do not steal others Bud. 3.
Do not commit adultery on Bud. 4.
Tell no lies on Bud. 5.
Do not drink intoxicants whilest on Bud.
