Hello My baby started Preschool. She was approved for Special Education so the Superindentant of Schools has put her in a Preschool Special Education Classroom. She has an appointment out of town in June at the Childrens hospital. Her doctor keeps telling me "she is a little bit retarded" Excuse me there is nothing retarded about my child or anyone else with Intellectual Delays. Such an ugly word. Anyways Dakota is sharp as a tack but she is wired differently in her brain. So we have to rule out Cerebral Palsy. I highl;y doubt that it is CP. I truely believe she has Sensory Processing Disorder. Anywyas I have been on the ball doing anything and everything to help her. School gymnastics therapy etc. She is my baby girl and I want her to know she can do anything and once we find out how she is hard wired I can get help to learn how to teach her more effectively I can teach in the method she learns. My adult children have birthdays this month. Tina will be 25 and Amanda will be 23. My grandson will start kindergarden this coming school year, and my granddaughter well as soon as my daughter Tina gets moved to this side of town we will enroll her in Preschool. I have a daily routine I normally follow, not today though I am taking a break. When Dakota leaves for school I spend the time she is at school cleaning the house or shopping or running errands or going to appointments and then when she gets home the house is ready again for Tornado Dakota!!

I have drank my 2 cups of coffee for the day and yet I am still ready for a nap and its only 9:41 in the morning. Ugh I need to go walk or something. Ok off my butt going to go ahead and do my cleaning routine I need to stay awake
