Lately life is unbearable, I’ve never had this strong of a notion of giving up. I joined this site so maybe someone can relate and maybe give me advice on how to cope before I decide otherwise

People love you, support you, and want you to live, even if they are not very good at telling you so. They would be devastated if you were no longer here, gone in the earth. You would never get to find out what it is like to come through the difficult stage, and see the sunlight in the sky in a new light. It would be such a shame. You never know what people would really be sad to see you go, because many of us are terrible communicators, but there are people who care.
Find ways to see current difficulties as less important. Visualise as though you are outside of yourself, see yourself going in and out of focus, your problems going in and out of focus. Where else can you point your binoculars? What did you used to love to do before? Force yourself to do that again, even if you are not enjoying it. What nice things can you do for yourself right now? Do it! As many good things for yourself as you can think of. Put down everything else, it’s not important right now. You are important, even if you don’t think so. You are worth the effort. Look up articles about how to find self respect and give yourself some inspiration, or whatever inspiration looks like for you.
If you don’t like my advice, that’s fine too. I am sharing things I have previously found helpful. Try to be kind to yourself, and play around with different ideas until you find what works for you. You could also try looking up Acceptance and Commitment Therapy exercises (ACT), or cognitive therapy exercises. I found that helpful.
I hope you feel better soon. I bet you would be feeling a lot better in a weeks time. It’s about letting the feelings out and letting them have expression, and they become a little less intense once heard, although there can be a delay, it does happen. I hope that helps.
