The gas engineer has done the annual safety check. It wasn't too bad. I'm used to it and know what to expect. He just had to check the boiler in the kitchen, so I didn't have to do very much disinfecting afterwards and the only thing I had to throw away was a kitchen roll. The squirrels were still getting in after the roofer came. I've had people coming round to look in the loft since and I was expecting it to be fixed weeks ago, but nothing has been done and I don't know how to contact them. Fortunately the squirrels haven't been back recently but there was a dead one up there and when the man took it away a load of maggots escaped from it and they were raining from the ceiling for days afterwards.

This is an awful place, I wish I could get away from here. If I don't leave of my own volition I'm probably going to be evicted. I've had a threatening letter from the estate agent complaining about the state of the place. I do my best but it's not my fault it's a dump. They're just looking for an excuse to get rid of me.I've been looking around but there doesn't seem to be anywhere affordable to move to. In the past I had help applying for benefits and finding accommodation from a local charity but they no longer exist. They were dependent on funding from the local council and the Tory scum cut the money and switched it to another charity who, not having enough money for everybody on their books, purged me, saying that I didn't need help and was well enough to cope on my own, which I'm clearly not. The local NHS mental health team aren't much help. My care co-ordinator (stupid title) is complacent and doesn't do much.

What a frustrating situation to be in.  Is it possible to move out of the area, or is it the same everywhere?  These budget cutting politicians have no idea how much damage they do to people who are already struggling.  I hope you can find some help, and a better place to live.

Sorry to hear you are having a hard time of it. A care co-ordinator sounds like a good idea. They tried to bring that in here but it never eventuated. I hope things start looking better for you.
