Well today I didn't get any laundry done or any packing of winter clothes either. I didn't go back to bed until almost 7 a.m. and then slept in until 10 which felt heavenly! I woke up to my husband lying next to me and gently prodding me and asking me if I was going to get up yet…well, since you're bugging me, I assume that you think I should, so yes ~ I'll get up.

We ended up spending the day at the beach with our friends and then having a cookout at their place afterwards. The kids had a great time and it was good to be able to have time to talk with my friend Michelle because she and her fiance' are having problems. Aaron kept Mike busy while we talked and walked the beach. I feel terrible for her about what they're going through but there's nothing I can do but listen. Things mellowed out between them as the day wore on so that was good.

Even with 2 applications of sunscreen and less than 3 hours at the beach I'm sunburnt, and Aaron is sunburnt to an ungodly reddish-purple. I hope he doesn't end up with sun poisoning. That's a horrible way to feel. Even Zachary got a little too much sun today despite the fact that he was sunscreened too. So we all took some Tylenol and smeared ourselves with aloe after our showers. Zachary fell right asleep (he was worn out), and Aaron's already ready for bed too. I'm not quite there yet, but it's coming.

So I had the busiest weekend I've had in a very long time, and the best part was that I was able to enjoy it instead of feel miserable.

I wish everyone a great start to your week. (((HUGS)))

I'm glad you were able to enjoy your weekend.  I just tell my husband to buzz off when he wants me to get up and I'm not ready, lol.
