Thankfully, I know why I dread Friday.   The reason is bad memories.    The challenge is that the day of Friday happens once a week! 

I hope that everyone is doing well.    If you are struggling with anything, I hope you know what options you have to make your life better if possible.  

 After pondering I know what would make my life better but I can only control some factors.   I can’t make my hand injury heal faster but I can take care of it so that it does eventually heal   I can’t change some things about my current life but I can make sure I don’t make things worse.    I can work on accepting that we can’t change the past situations but I can accept that people and the past can’t change even though that would be lovely.   

Hopefully, the gift of time is in front of you.   Time to process , hope, find ways to heal your heart/body and to mourn.   Time to look for solutions, and to just “be.” We don’t have to know what we want but we can start with knowing what we don’t want.    We can know what doesn’t work for us and what isn’t acceptable.    It is a good start to get to a better and more content state of mind.

    I agree with you. We need to make more time to just “be.” We don’t have to be perfect and should never try to be. Learning to accept things is an amazing thing. Instead of trying to “ignore” it, learn to “accept” it. That allows us more peace of mind. Furthermore, learning what works and doesn’t work is a great idea. Do more of what works, less of what doesn’t. Lastly, always stay hopeful. Napoleon Bonaparte is known for famously saying that “great leaders are dealers in hope.” Stay full of hope and give yourself all the time you need to heal and recover. Have a great day 🙂
