I had a nightmare that daughters former fiancé magically became a better person and was getting married.  (He became verbally and emotionally abusive to her, me, his employees, and waitress staff.) She ended the relationship.

Don’t worry, I know that when people show their true colors, believe them.

The dream was upsetting because in the dream he was the vulnerable, boyish, charming, acted family oriented and seemed to love my daughter version of him.

It is like a death when someone goes from being a loved and trusted one  to a abusive person.
