I’d love to get to know you! I have my bad days and good days, but maybe we can help each other?
Things won’t ever be perfect. Things won’t ever be wonderful and sunshine and rainbows forever. But things will get better, as long as you put in the effort. Try a tiny little thing that helps you each day. There are a million things you can do out there. Self care such as showers and brushing your teeth. Putting effort into hobbies such as music. Our worst year of existence was when we were 15. We went to 4 mental hospitals in a year. We’ve only been to one in the past two years now. It gets better. You always fight your illnesses, but as time goes on, the fight becomes predictable. You know that depression always swings the same punch. You have learned how to counter it. You take a medication that makes that punch weaker. You learn a self care skill that gives you a set of armor to take the blow. Nothing will be perfect or fixed completely. There’s no magic pill. But you will have more good days. Your bad days won’t be as bad.
Just to introduce ourselves:
– Our collective name is Solar
– We are most likely genderfluid, but it’s hard to tell
– We are a DID system, and have BPD, Bipolar 1, Anxiety, and Depression
– We love to be creative and artsy in any way possible
– We have a dog named Aspen
– Our best friend used to have guinea pigs. They’re so much fun.
– We’re also bisexual, and polyamorous as well
– We’re a burnt out GT kid. It’s a thing. Your mental stuff was exacerbated by being GT.
– We used to self harm and occasionally make mistakes. We’ve had a few suicide attempts.
Hoping that sharing this can make you feel a little less alone. Wishing you luck on your journey.
