Got an email from a good friend this morning. He has helped me through a lot of stuff with my former employer. Believe me, I was fortunate to have him on my side. He was a steward for the union.

Anyway, he read my bipolar blog and commented to me this:

"I like your Blog. I think it is a great tool to inform others and help out about the struggles of daily living.

Dude, I am so glad you are able to write so clearly. I totally related to the article on Faith.
God bless you pilgrim in your path…"

I wrote back: "Awesome, glad you see the value of the blog. It's therapeutic for me, helps others, and its from theperspective of the patient, not the Dr, Big Pharma, and other experts (who have never taken psych meds)."

It's encouraging when friends help and get behind you for something. It gives an extra ouncy of push.

Oh yeah, the blog is here http://bipolar-living.blogspot.com. I've been blogging for almost 5 months now.

Take care all.

It is true, one can not help ones self without automatically helping others. Lending a hand, being compassionate and respectful are all win-win traits.
