Why hello there. I joined this website because I am having some very hard times in life and I thought coming on here and sharing my story and reading other peoples and maybe talking to some people could be beneficial. As of right now I wanted to get on and give you a few facts about myself so if you want to message me maybe we could become friends or something like that. But, on here I will not be revealing my name for privacy reasons, if we become friends then maybe but as of right now no. I am a 13 year old girl from northern Florida, I’m in 8th grade about to be a freshman next year. I play in my school band and I can play Bb clarinet, bass clarinet, guitar, and I sing. Music has been a big part of my life for as long as I can remember and I honestly don’t know what id do without it, its a lifesaver. I am mostly into the genre alternative/rock and a few of my favorite bands are: Panic! At the Disco, Fall Out Boy, My Chemical Romance, Nirvana, Stone Temple Pilots, ACDC, and Three Days Grace. Writing is also a very big part of my life. Since I could I have been writing constantly, from blogs to short stories to poems and even songs at this point, writing helps me escape from the outside world and I love it hence why I am writing on here. Now it is time to get down to the stuff that no one usually wants to talk about: mental illnesses. I’m not going to sit on here and say I’ve had this awful life but it was definitely nothing even close to perfect, but that is a conversation for another day. I am not professionally diagnosed with any of these but these are just a few illnesses I firmly believe I struggle with: An anxiety disorder, depression, BDD, OCD, and I do have a history of self harm. I am seeing a therapist almost once a week and I am trying to get help. But anyways, this was just a little about me that Id thought id share to get peoples attention and maybe make some new friends. Thank you for spending your time reading, I hope you have a great day!
