A few months ago, I was taken away from my parents and placed with my grandparents by CPS. It is really stressful because my grandparents have a completely different lifestyle than my parents. They also don’t know than I am gay. It is too much to handle. And the corona virus has people quarantined. So I can’t see my friends at school. Can anyone give me suggestions on how to not be stressed out and have anxiety? If so, please let me know.
To much to handle

Well one thing you can do is try and chat with friends. Try to text or call or even Face Time if you can. If you can keep in touch with them, It could help a lot 🙂
It’s a very tough time for you, Keeping contact using internet with school friends is a good option, maybe being quarantined give them loneliness problems as yours.
But be careful with persons that you don’t know, the experience posted today by honeytee is instructive to learn how to manage something that can add even more trauma.
You are gay, the decision to come out or not with your grandparents is only yours, noone can force you. Stressful time is not the better time for important decision.
Take all the time that you need, concentrate on recovering your quiet mind.
Thank you both for suggesting that. I’ll try to chat with my friends online. I really appreciate your support. Thank you!
Are there any peer counselors in your school? Or any counselors. I know it sounds cheesy but it does help to talk. It also helps to get a dog and walk him. You meet other people and talk. Good luck to you
Hugs.
