…a little journal can go a long way. Well, they don’t really say that…although I’m hoping that will be the case. Over the past couple of years I have developed a pretty severe case of anxiety, a more than healthy dose of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) along with dash of
Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Talk about a serious recipe for serious disaster.
After my case becoming more and more unbearable, I made an appointment with my family practitioner and was given a prescription for an
anti-depressant. Although this medication has helped me greatly thus far, I’m a huge believer in the feng shui lifestyle and would like to go green. Medication isn’t exactly my idea of doing so, no matter how sane I am when I take it (Plus it’s a pain in the ass to remember to take it every night). My hope for keeping this blog is to get it all out on paper (or keys!) and make some progress towards eventual total healing.
Due to the expenses of living in a big city, owning a cell phone and having two outrageously fat cats to feed, I’m unable to afford a psychiatrist and hopefully recollecting all these events and memories will lead to some big breakthrough…reader comments would be helpful and appreciated as well. So…Thank you, dear reader. I now dub thee my personal e-shrink.
