I’d like to start using this as a platform to bring hope into my life on a daily basis. Each day I will chose a person, a place and a thing that I am grateful for. Then I will talk about something I am looking forward to in the future. The goal of this is to keep myself from becoming depressed and shutting myself off from the world.
This morning I am thankful for Tobias. Tobias is a lot like a big brother. He is always trying to make sure that I am thought about and taken care of. He gives me advise when I need it and is always open to trying something new with me. We can talk about anything together and it is never stressful, even if we do not agree. Even on the hard topics, we are able to help each other see the humor and take the edge off of stressful situations. He is a good friend.
I am also thankful for the young adults class. I feel like I have found a place in the world where I can make good, lasting friendships that will thrive. The people I have met have all been very accepting. They share some of the same insecurities that I do and are not ashamed to admit their own faults. I look forward to being able to grow closer to them.
Mr. Bialystock the fish has turned out to be a great investment. He is a very active fish, always up to something. I will be able to buy him little fishy toys and watch him enjoy them. When I start to feel stressed out or lonely, I can watch him swim around in his little tank and this relaxes me quite a bit. He is a comfort.
I am looking forward to tball pictures. They always turn out so cute and the girls have a blast posing for the camera. I am prepared to do whatever it takes to make this go smoothly this year, like an organised coach.
That’s all for today.
