Today I couldn’t get out of bed in the morning. My daughter was crying for me and I still couldn’t move. My husband was very very frustrated at me because of this. He is super supportive, not an asshole. How do you all deal with the feeling of letting others down because of the effects of your depression?

I have been in that situation many times. Those are the hardest times when you are letting your children down. If this happens to me/my son i wait until i am able to get up (usually directly after a nap) and i try to do something productive with him to show him that i care about him. My wife is the reason my depression has come back into my life so it doesnt bother me when she is frustrated with me. I have found that regularly going for walks can help to keep those days from happening. Hope this helps.
