I am a 16 year old boy who wants to become a transgender woman and crossdress and become a drag queen. I am feeling a lot of gender dysphoria right now, and I don’t like being a man and want to be a girl. I am not wanting to become transgender because I’m homosexual, I am straight and am not a gay man, although I would want to identify as lesbian and femme-sexual when I transition into a woman, I am just not fond of being a man and I want to become a woman. I also really hope that everyone in the LGBTQ community gets treated much better and that the laws and rules that prohibit them from doing what they want such as the bathroom and locker room and the gender separation rules and laws would not be quite so harsh for everyone and would cease to exist so that trans and queer and bisexual and non binary people can live their best lives without having to deal with any rules or peer/family/friend/legal issues and conflicts and laws that stop them from living the happy lives that they want to experience. Y’all should please love and support and fight for LGBTQ people and their rights. WE PEOPLE SHOULD BE EQUAL! 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️💕
Hello & welcome to DT! I cannot speak regarding transgender issues as I am not transgender, but I agree with you that everyone should be free to live their lives however they want, and love whoever they want to love, so long as everyone involved are consenting adult humans. I don’t experience gender dysphoria, but I do experience body dysmorphia and it’s miserable. The episodes hit without warning and, overall, my “body issues” have kept me from socializing with peers for many, many years. So although they are different in many ways, the overall feeling of being miserable in one’s own body is similar. I wish I had words of wisdom to offer – I promise, if I find any, I’ll pass them along. In the meantime, I think you should follow the path that leads to you leading a happier and more authentic life. Don’t let political pundits and bigots get you down. Some people may not understand but, not too long ago, no one understood women who wanted to work outside the home, or vote. And we currently have a woman VP! Progress isn’t easy, but nothing good ever is. Hang in there!

I also really want to get bottom surgery done on me. I don’t really think that I need top surgery that much because I could just tape my male nipples together like drag queens do, but it would be nice if my nipples would always stay in the shape of boobs, and to do that, I would either have to strongly tape my nipples together every day and all the time, or I could just get top surgery so that my nipples permanently stay in the shape of and pass as female boobs. It’s not a huge priority of mine but top surgery would be very nice to have done for me. But my pubic area is very masculine and impossible to pass as female, and I think that the only way of getting the bottom area to pass as female and also to make me a true and complete woman/girl/female is to have bottom surgery done for me. Sadly, neither top nor bottom surgeries are probably ever going to happen for me because of how expensive they are, but it would be really amazing if I could find some way to get these surgeries done for me sometime.
