I believe that we are here to make the most out of our lives. Most of the time we go by what others believe because if we dont, we feel like "outcasts" or "weird". We tend to believe what society tell us, what "friends" tell us, and make it fact. I'm here to tell you that it is not selfish, or "bad" to create a life that YOU desire. It is not selfish to put yourself first and it is not selfish to feel as though you DESERVE a certain lifestyle.
I'm sorry to tell you but most of these "friends" are just close minded people who really don't want to see you happier than them or see you living out your dreams because most people are miserable causing them to be jealous. They're miserable because they keep themselves in a box. The box that says: Society is always right. Politics are always right. My parents are always right. I'm always wrong but I will pretend like I know everything and pretend as if I go by my own thoughts and opinions.
You have to choose TODAY to live outside of "the box". Life has no limits. The only time it does have limits is when you create them. All it takes is you beginning to, and not being afraid to, believe in who you are. If you don't know who you are, create yourself to be what you desire to be! Your life is a blank canvas and you can paint ANY picture you desire.
To determine your life rules, you must sit down and think about what you really want your life to be. Remember, it's never too late to chase after your dreams and to become who you've always wanted to be. It doesnt matter if youre 16, 30 or 60, it is NEVER too late.
An example: I want to find the love of my life, settle down, have children. Ok! Write it down, imagine what it would feel like and apply the Law of Attraction to it! Then you can have WHATEVER you want! It's like mental magic 🙂
To conclude:
Stop giving yourself boundaries determined by what others think, say or do. Live your life your way because at the end of the day, the only person you have to answer to is you.
That's exactly what I go by- if I can't be myself around my friends- it's Out the Door for them….
It is so odd that you posted this today and that I read it… I have been struggling with certain questions about what I should do about certain situations… should I do what I want, or what I should do… are they both the same thing? Should I do what makes me happy or do what makes me a good person? Very cool post.
Thank you for this. I really appreciate it. Gave me a lot to think about.
